- Clinical Pilates for Back Pain
A 4-week block of Pilates classes suitable for those with back pain. This will be a gentle slow paced class focused on strengthening and stretching throughout the back. Before starting, please book an initial 1:1 Physiotherapy assessment to ensure you are suitable and that Sarah can get to know you and help to personalise the class for you. After the initial assessment there will be a 4 week block of Pilates classes with small group size so that each movement can be personalised and adapted for you. - Postnatal Mum and Baby Physio Pilates
Mum & Baby Postnatal Pilates is a gentle, supportive class led by Sarah Deakin, a women’s health physio, Mummy MOT practitioner, and mum of two. Designed to help you reconnect with your body and rebuild strength after pregnancy and birth. Bring your baby along, we work around feeds, cuddles, changes, and naps, with each session combining safe postnatal Pilates with practical physio-led education on core recovery, pelvic floor, posture, scars, and returning to movement confidently. Suitable from 6 weeks post vaginal birth and 12 weeks post C-section, following your postnatal check/clearance. Get in touch if you have any questions.
- Intermediate Pilates, Nov/Dec Block
Join us for a 7-week Physiotherapist- led Pilates course building on the foundations of Pilates. This is an intermediate level Pilates class designed for those who have some Pilates experience (doesn't need to be extensive experience), a reasonable level of fitness and after more of a challenge. It is a step up from the foundation beginner classes, introducing more challenging exercises, variations, and increased intensity. The aim of this class is to increase strength, balance, endurance, flexibility and coordination. As always different levels of each exercise will be provided and can be adapted so it is the right level for you! Not sure what level class is right for you? Join us for a 6-week Pilates course progressing on the foundations of Pilates. This is a dynamic, challenging intermediate level Pilates class designed for those who have some Pilates experience (doesn't need to be extensive experience), a reasonable level of fitness and who are after more of a challenge. It is a step up from the foundation beginner classes, introducing more challenging exercises, variations, and increased intensity. The aim of this class is to increase strength, balance, endurance, flexibility and coordination.
