Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage to release tension and restore a sense of ease in your body.

Tight shoulders, an aching back, legs that feel heavy, or that general feeling of holding tension without really realising it.

Massage can help ease that.

What to expect from Massage Therapy

I offer deep tissue massage, working into areas of tension to help your muscles relax and move more freely.

The pressure is always adjusted to suit you, to leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and reset.

Sessions can be tailored depending on what you need on the day.

A 60-minute session is usually enough time for a full body massage, or to focus on areas like the back, neck and shoulders. A 30-minute session works well for a more targeted treatment, such as back or legs.
How it can help

Massage can be useful for:
-
Muscle tightness and tension
-
General aches and pains
-
Stiffness from work, exercise, or day-to-day life
-
Feeling physically or mentally tense

A bit about my background

I’m an ITEC Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist, alongside my work as a physiotherapist.

That means I have a good understanding of how the body works, and where tension tends to build, even if you’re not coming in with a specific injury.

Visceral Massage and C-section Scar Therapy
Gentle, hands-on treatment to support how your body moves and feels
Sometimes tension doesn’t just sit in muscles.
It can build around the abdomen, organs, or areas of scarring, especially after surgery, pregnancy, or injury. This includes C-section scars, which can sometimes feel tight, sensitive, or restricted long after healing.
Visceral massage and scar therapy are gentle, hands-on techniques used to help with this.
This type of treatment is often used alongside postnatal recovery, including as part of a Mummy MOT® or ongoing pelvic health support.

What does visceral massage or scar therapy involve?

Treatment is slow, specific, and tailored to you.

Visceral work focuses on the tissues and fascia around the organs, helping to improve movement and reduce areas of restriction. Scar therapy works directly with scar tissue, helping to soften, mobilise, and improve how the surrounding area moves and feels. This can be particularly helpful for C-section scars, where tightness or pulling can affect how your body moves.

Sessions are always guided by what feels comfortable for you. There’s no need to push into pain for it to be effective.
When it can be helpful

This type of treatment may be useful if you have:
-
Abdominal tension or discomfort
-
A feeling of tightness or restriction through the tummy
-
Scars from surgery, including C-section scars
-
Ongoing pulling, sensitivity, or reduced movement around a scar
-
Pelvic or lower back discomfort where the abdomen may be contributing
How it fits in

This can be used as a standalone treatment, or alongside physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
t’s often something we include as part of a wider plan, particularly following a Mummy MOT®, where scar tissue or abdominal restriction is identified as a contributing factor.
For some people, it helps things settle enough to move more comfortably. For others, it’s part of a broader plan to improve movement and reduce symptoms.
