Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy
When your body isn’t quite doing what you want it to
Sometimes it’s something that came out of nowhere.
Other times it’s been building for a while.
A shoulder that catches.
A knee that complains every time you try to get back into running.
An ache that never fully settles.
You might have been told it’s just “wear and tear.”
Or that you need to stop doing the things you enjoy.
In most cases, neither of those things are the full picture.

What I can help with

-
Joint pain, including hips, knees, shoulders and back
-
Tendon pain that doesn’t seem to settle
-
Injuries from sport, exercise, or everyday life
-
Ongoing aches and pains that keep coming back
-
Stiffness, weakness, or reduced confidence in movement
How your Physiotherapy assessment works

Your first session is a thorough, hands-on physiotherapy assessment, giving us time to properly understand what’s going on in your body.

This includes looking at how you move, alongside more specific testing such as range of movement, strength, and how your joints and nerves are functioning.

It’s not just about finding where it hurts, but understanding why.

We’ll also talk about your goals. What you want to get back to, what matters to you, and what feels realistic right now.
As we go, I’ll explain things clearly so you’re not left guessing. Understanding your body is the first step in changing it.
What happens next

As a chartered physiotherapist, everything I do is guided by evidence-based practice.

Where possible, we’ll work towards a clear diagnosis. But bodies don’t always fit neatly into one box, and it’s common for a few things to be contributing at once.

You’re not just a knee or a shoulder. You’re a whole body, and everything is connected.

From there, you’ll leave with a clear, practical plan that’s tailored to you. Your body, your lifestyle, and the things you want to get back to.
Approach to physiotherapy treatment

Your treatment plan is tailored to you, and we’ll agree on the right approach together. This might include hands-on techniques, particularly in the early stages, to help settle symptoms and get things moving more comfortably. But we often need to address any underlying issues.

I’m a movement optimist. Movement is a powerful tool when it’s used in the right way, at the right time. The focus is on helping you build strength, confidence, and trust in your body again.

That might include specific exercises, changes to how you’re moving day to day, or small adjustments that make a big difference over time.

The long-term goal is always self-management. Not just feeling better for now, but knowing how to keep yourself moving well.

If something else is going on

If your symptoms need further investigation or aren’t something physiotherapy can help with, I’ll talk you through that and guide you on what to do next.

With 9 years of NHS experience, I’m trained to recognise when something isn’t quite adding up, including signs of inflammatory or neurological conditions.

If that’s the case, I’ll explain things clearly, write to your GP if needed, and guide you towards the right next steps so you can access the care you need.

I know how the system works, and I’ll make sure you’re supported through it
Your next step

If something doesn’t feel right, or you’re ready to get moving again with a bit more confidence, this is a good place to start.
Book your Physiotherapy Assessment at The Space, Burston, near Diss or get in touch if you’re not quite ready and want to ask a few questions first. Either way, you’ll be heard, respected, and supported from the very start.
